A former high school cheerleader has won a shot at being the first female Formula 1 driver for 30 years.
Gorgeous Danica Patrick has already proved a hit the U.S. IndyCar Series after winning one race and three poll positions this season.
And now the 26-year-old, who was raised in Roscoe, Illinois, has been offered a test drive by Honda team boss Nick Fry.
Pulse racer: Danica Patric has won the chance to try out for the Honda F1 team
He said: " We will put her into our car after the season at the latest and see how quick she is."
If Miss Patrick does well on the track in either Jerez or Barcelona in November, she could race at the start of next season.
She would be the first female Formula 1 racer Lella Lombardi - one of five women in the sport - joined the Grand Prix circuit in 1974.

And for Miss Danica, who has courted controversy during her three years as an IndyCar driver for using her looks to help publicise her, it would be a dream come true.
But Honda's current driver Jenson Button has suggested her career in Formula 1 might face a big obstacle.
He has said: "A girl with big boobs would never be comfortable in the car, and the mechanics wouldn't concentrate.
"Can you imagine strapping her in?"
The last woman to enter the top flight was Giovanna Amati - who attempted to qualify three times for Brabham back in 1992 before being replaced by Damon Hill.
Last night, one insider said: " Danica's already won a place in American racing history.
"We'll find out in November if she's fast enough to do it in Europe."
Fast lady: Danica has faced criticism for using her body to promote herself in the U.S.
The recent record of IndyCar drivers succeeding in Formula One is mixed.
Jacques Villeneuve did well, but Michael Andretti did not. Scott Dixon, the 2008 Indy 500 winner tested with Williams-BMW in 2004, but didn't get a seat.
