Revealed: The faces of the couple killed by a 80mph train after they were seen 'tussling' on the tracks
15 April 2008
The couple, who had met last summer, had been seen "tussling" with each other on the tracks, shortly before they were killed.
Tonight, the family of mother-of-two Miss Gumble, 35, and Mr Pickard, 33, paid tribute to their relatives. Flowers had been left at the scene, Harlow Mill station in Essex.

Tragic: Couple: Dean Pickard, 33, and mother-of-two Katie Gumble, 35, died after being hit by a train
Police said CCTV footage from a camera at the front of the train showed the couple pulling at each other as the driver desperately sounded his horn and braked.
Detective Chief Inspector David Shipperlee, of British Transport Police, said: "It appeared that they were tussling with each other, although it is not clear who was pulling whom and for what reason.
"It may be the male was trying to pull the female away from the track but the female was also pulling."
The couple were hit by the packed 6.18am National Express East Anglia service from King's Lynn, Norfolk, to Liverpool Street, London, shortly before 8am as it passed through Harlow Mill station, Essex.
What is believed to have been the remains of the man's body lay on the tracks beside the platform, covered in a blue tarpaulin.
The woman's body was catapulted 300 yards down the line by the force of the collision. The train came to a halt 200 yards further on.

Passengers on the train said they thought it had hit debris on the track as it shook while screeching to a halt.
Naveed Riaz, 29, a software tester from Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, who was sitting in the first carriage, said: "The train started braking and the driver sounded his horn.
"As the train was shuddering to a halt, I felt vibrations. I thought we were going over some debris or rocks and it went through my mind that we were coming off the tracks.
"A few seconds later, the train came to a halt. Everyone was very tense. We didn't know what was going on.
"I looked out of the window and saw the driver getting out. At first he looked blank. Then he became upset. He walked back down the side of the train, chain-smoking.
"I could see blood spattered over the rails."

Aftermath: Forensic officers examine the scene of the tragedy at Harlow Mill station
Bank worker Joe Ralph-Davies, 20, who was in the second carriage, said: "The train braked very suddenly. I felt it going over something and there was debris coming up and hitting the windows."
The passengers spent several hours on the train before it was moved to Harlow station, where they were able to continue their journeys.
Relatives of the couple arrived at the scene yesterday. One woman was so distressed that an ambulance had to be called to treat her.
The station was closed until 3.30pm, while officers carried out a detailed search of the area, causing major disruption.
Network Rail said 75 services were cancelled and 16 had their routes shortened. Another 106 trains were delayed.
Mr Shipperlee said the investigation had been hampered because half a dozen witnesses who were on the platform left before police arrived.
Some contacted British Transport Police during the day, but he appealed for the others to come forward.
Officers were also checking CCTV from local businesses. There are no CCTV cameras at the station.
Mr Shipperlee added: "The driver is shocked and traumatised. He has not been in a condition to give us a statement."
Three weeks ago, a 29-year-old woman was killed by a train at Hythe station in Colchester, Essex, after her boot apparently became stuck in a level crossing.
Kelly Mack's boyfriend, Darren Palmer, 38, of Clacton-on-Sea, was later charged with her manslaughter.
