Will: Royal gynaecologist Sir George Pinker left the bulk of his £1.5 million estate to his four children
Royal gynaecologist Sir George Pinker, who delivered Princes William and Harry, left nearly £1.5million in his will.
Sir George, who died, aged 82, in April last year, was the Queen’s surgeon-gynaecologist from 1973 to 1990.
He delivered nine Royal babies, including those of Princess Anne and Princess Michael of Kent.
He also treated Princess Diana after she threw herself down the stairs at Sandringham when she was pregnant with William.
Sir George left the bulk of his estate to his four children: Ian, William, Robert and Catherine. His wife Dorothy died in 2003.
He also requested that eight of his close friends be treated to a weekend break at the Lygon Arms, a 16th Century hotel near his home in Broadway, Worcestershire.
