Sven may be sued over ex's broken book deal
16 July 2007
Italian TV presenter Monica Casti, 41, claims the Swede reneged on a deal to collaborate on the project with her.
Eriksson, now managing Manchester City, pulled the plug on the project in 2004, with Football Association officials fearing it would expose embarrassing secrets from the England locker room.
Speaking from Rome, Miss Casti said: "He failed to keep appointments and failed to keep his part of the bargain, which meant the book was scrapped.
"I stood to make at least £1million and now I want to be compensated for his breach.
"The book would have been a bestseller and I still have a lot of interesting information to reveal on Sven Goran Eriksson."
