Swine flu hits more schools

Two more London schools have been affected by swine flu.

There are three confirmed cases at independent boys' school The Hall in Hampstead.

The year seven pupils are believed to have fallen ill after returning from a trip to Normandy.

Headmaster Philip Lough said they were "recovering well" and the school was "following closely the advice of the Health Protection Agency".

He said a number of other boys were feeling unwell. The school has remained open.

A mother of a pupil said: "Almost the whole of year seven is off school. They were all travelling in a coach together for hours."

Another mother said: "We have been told not to panic."

Eight children and a teacher at Immanuel and St Andrew Church of England primary school in Streatham have also contracted the virus.

They developed symptoms after coming back from a two-day excursion.

The nine cases are being treated at home and the school will remain open.

It takes the total number of cases in London to 179.
