Staff at St Paul's Way Community School in Tower Hamlets, east London, will walk out for 24 hours on five separate days over the next few weeks, starting on March 19.
Adrian Swain, a maths teacher, was working in the school's unit for disabled students and those with special needs when he was sacked for defying the dress code.
He lost an appeal against his dismissal, but his National Union of Teacher colleagues voted to take industrial action in protest at his treatment.
Mr Swain, 57 of Stratford, east London, said: "I am really heartened that my union is now backing industrial action to secure my reinstatement after being sacked for standing up for union policy.
"The NUT's decision to call for strikes is also a tribute to the hard work put in during the past few months by fellow teachers at St Paul's Way."
Talks are due to be held be held next week between the union and Tower Hamlets Council to discuss the dispute.
