Schoolgirl Camilla Hempleman- Adams, 15, spent a week enduring sub-zero temperatures – and the deafening snoring of her fellow adventurers – in her bid to enter the record books and highlight the effects of global warming.
Camilla's father, the world-renowned explorer David Hempleman-Adams, and Norwegian polar expert Rune Gjeldnes, led the group of 11 on the 80-mile journey.

Record setter: Camilla Hempleman-Adams skied to the North Pole with her father David
They reached the geographic North Pole at 3pm on Wednesday.
Camilla, who had to pull a 70lb sledge during the trek, said: "It's been amazing going on the expedition with my dad and now my eyes have been opened as to what he has done on previous trips.
"This has been the hardest thing I've ever done in my life."
But risking death, frostbite, exhaustion and attacks from polar bears has not been the worst of it for the London teenager.

Camilla said: "I've been sharing a tent with four men and two women and the snoring has been unbearable – despite my ear plugs.
"And the food has been disgusting – it's like sick. I'm really looking forward to my first pizza when I get back to civilisation."
Mr Hempleman-Adams said: "Although one of the hardest things for her has been coping with the snoring, Camilla's done magnificently – amazingly well. I'm extremely proud of her."
The group was due to be picked up by helicopter today.
