Bed-hopping Cheryl Tunney has embarked on a string of one-night stands since losing her virginity at the age of 16 and cannot remember the names of many of her lovers.

She said since she admitted her promiscuous past on BBC television, she had been repeatedly abused in the street.

However, she has sought solace in the arms of a 39-year-old boyfriend.

Cheryl from Dagenham, Essex, said: "It's been quite upsetting really, all these people shouting things out in the street like 'slapper'.

"My sexual past was then and this is now but these people just won't accept that."

She added that her new boyfriend has also suffered abuse: "He has had lots of stick at work and when he's out and about, it's just not called for.

"He will stay with me though, we are very happy together and we are just trying to ignore them."

The promiscuous teenager revealed her sexual past to her shocked mum Debbie, 45, on a BBC3 series Sex......With Mum And Dad.

Cheryl admitted that she had met many of the men on websites and was stunned when her mother revealed she had only slept with three people.

Since the show, Cheryl says she has been subjected to a daily barrage of abuse.

Groups about the teen have been set up on social networking site Facebook and dozens of people have left comments on Cheryl's bebo profile page.

One from someone called Stiffy said: "I just saw that documentary u wer on.

"You were drinking a can of stella walking through a council estate in a denim miniskirt with a longsdale top and diadora trainers, how unattractive.

"Take some advice: Get a EDUCATION. Get a JOB. Get some SELF RESPECT."

The trainee hairdresser vowed to stop sleeping around after a session with sexologist Maria Schopman and said she hopes to shake off her terrible reputation.

She said: "I am shocked because I went on the programme to show I could change and I have changed.

"I'm not a bad person and I did not expect people to judge me so harshly.

"My boyfriend thinks we should move somewhere else but I'm not being forced out of my area. I have grown up here."
