The Blairs meet their new neighbours

Alison Lloyd, of Connaught Square, west London, said: "I was doing the washing up and was still wearing my apron. I said, 'as you can see I've dressed up for the occasion' and Cherie roared with laughter.
"She's much prettier than in photographs." Mrs Lloyd, 52, an interior designer, added: "They're lucky to be living here because we are all wonderful neighbours."

Her daughter Emma, 16, said: "No one else has Tony Blair living next door. If they want anyone to babysit Leo, I'd be very happy."
The Blairs also introduced themselves to many of their neighbours at the Connaught Square Garden Party yesterday evening.
They were greeted by young and older members of the community and seemed to be adapting well to neighbourhood life. Simon Davies, who lives just off Connaught Square, suggested residents club together to send flowers to the Blairs.

"It would show them we have no animosity," he said.
The Blairs bought the Grade II-listed home in 2004 and later bought the cottage behind it on Archery Close. Builders are turning the two into one property.
