Instead, forecasters are promising more glorious sunshine and the kind of temperatures usually associated with the height of the summer.
Thermometers in some areas are expected to reach 77f (25c) over the next few days - around 18f above the seasonal average. Just like the Easter weekend, many beaches and parks are expected to be packed.

The unusually warm weather has also had a magical effect on Mother Nature, but in the as Monty found as he went springing through the bluebells in a wood near Clanfield in Hampshire.
Forecaster Daniel Adamson, of Meteogroup UK, said that while western areas may experience some light showers, most places will see a perfect weekend.
'We will have high temperatures across the South-East, London and the surrounding counties to the west,' he said.
'The dry the pink weather is due to high pressure close to and around the UK for the last few weeks. It's started to drift east but is pulling even warmer air from the continent.
'Into the north of England there will be temperatures of 70f to 73f (21c to 23c) but cooler around the coasts.'
The hottest place is likely to be London at 77f (25c). In Wales and the West it will be 70f to 72f (21c to 22c).
