Three homes on billionaires' row to make £100m

THREE properties on the market are set to defy the financial crisis and rake in more than £100million.

Jersey House on The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead Garden Suburb is on the market for £45million; The Mansion and The Villa, both in nearby Courtenay Avenue in Highgate, have price tags of £35million and £25million.

Neighbours include Europe's richest man, Lakshmi Mittal, as well as some 10 homes owned by the Saudi royal family.

Haringey councillor Bob Hare said: "In one or two streets there is definitely an alternative reality when it comes to house prices." Estate agent Glentree International is confident of a quick exchange on the three properties.

Trevor Abrahmsohn, who owns the firm, said: "We have been trading for more than 32 years, we have seen off three recessions and frankly we have heard and seen it all before. I think all three will be sold within the next six months."

Mr Abrahmsohn has sold several large homes in the area, including Toprak Mansion on The Bishops Avenue for £50million - the most expensive new home ever sold in Britain.
