Three killed in row over house price

Three people were killed in Germany in a row over the price of a house.

The killer, identified only as 71-year-old Hans P, opened fire last night with his hunting rifle as lawyers and estate agents acting for his daughter gathered at her house in Schwalmtal near Dusseldorf. It is understood he wanted her and her ex-husband, who lived in the property, to get a better price for it.

Hans P surrendered to police after a brief siege. As well as the dead, who were not identified, one person was critically injured. Three others in the house were unhurt.
