Three men who died in Bridgend 'suicides' came from same street

The latest man to apparently commit suicide in Bridgend came from the same street as two friends who died in the same way.
Carwen Jones, 28, was found hanged near the street of Heol Glannant in Bettws, where friends Sean Rees and Neil Owen also lived.
The South Wales town has seen more than 20 suicides.
His body was found on the eve of the funeral of Owen, 26, and eight weeks after Rees, 19, also died.

The three men grew up together in the same street. Neil Owen lived at No.53, across the road from Sean Rees, who lived at No.64. Carwyn Jones lived around the corner at No.18.
All three bodies were found hanging from trees.
Neighbour Patricia Dyke said: 'It is dreadful. People around here are going to Neil's funeral only to be told Carwen has died too.'

Some 22 young people have committed suicide in the Bridgend area since the start of
2007.
Police insist the deaths are not linked.
