Two teenagers were knocked down and killed by a car as they walked home after a night out.
Mikhail Chekley, 18, and his neighbour Steven Bye, 14, were eight miles from home when the black Audi A4 hit them on the A6116 carriageway at 2.40 on Saturday morning.
The teenagers died instantly and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Audi A4 was being driven by a 44-year-old local man, a Northamptonshire Police spokesman said.
A police spokeswoman said it appeared the two teenagers were walking in the carriageway at the time they were hit.
A 16 year old friend, Danielle Lilley, said: 'They were great lads. It is a terrible shame. They were neighbours and spent a lot of time together.
'Steven had always got something funny to say and Mik was a really nice lad who loved the ladies.
'I spoke to Steven at around midnight on Saturday because I was staying at his house. They had gone out and I didn't want to go with them because I was tired.

'He rang to say to tell his dad that he was ok and that was the last I heard until the police came at about 5 o'clock in the morning.'
Danielle said that Mik could drive, but she did not know if he had been in a car that night.
The 18 year old had recently left his job in a warehouse and was hoping to join the army.
He lived with his parents Barbara and Mick and is thought to have some stepbrothers.
Mik's girlfriend Ashleigh left flowers and a note at the scene of the crash.
She wrote: 'To my Miky xxxxx. I love you so so much, you will always be in my heart, I am missing you so much, be with me always and forever, love you loads, miss you Ashleigh.'
Steven, who was at school in Desborough, had two younger brothers and a younger sister called Keiran, Rebecca and Ethan.
A floral message left at the scene for Steven said: 'Rest in peace mate. I'm so sorry you have left us. Hope you have gone to a better place. Keep out of trouble. Lots of love, Vikki and Chris.'
A white Scania car transporter travelling in the opposite direction at the time also stopped at the scene.
Friends and family are devastated at the loss of the Mik and Steven and say they spent a lot of time together
A neighbour of the boys said: 'I can't understand what they were doing on the road at that time of the morning.
'They were eight miles from home and it may be they had been given a lift to a country park at Fermin Woods where they had been in the past, but couldn't get a lift back home.'
Insp Nigel Rickaby, of Northamptonshire Police's road policing unit, said: "This is a tragic incident in which two young men have sadly lost their lives.
"The collision will be fully investigated and we extend our sympathies to the families of those involved."
Paramedics and police attended the scene after being contacted by other motorists but medics were unable to save the pair.
An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: 'We received the initial 999 call at just after 2.40am to respond to a road traffic crash on the A6116 near Corby.
'We immediately dispatched two doctors, two ambulances and two first responder vehicles.'
Police have only revealed the full details of the horrific crash this morning and they are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.
