Underground dinner party is a YouTube hit

A video of a dinner party on a Tube train has been watched 150,000 times on YouTube.

The footage shows a man get on a Jubilee line train at Kilburn carrying two cases, one of which unfolds into a table while the other contains food, crockery, cutlery and wine.

Candles and a vase of flowers complete the effect before he is joined by five friends in suits and ballgowns who tuck in.

"We were just bored one afternoon and decided to do something stupid," said Melissa Manteghi, 22, from Cricklewood.

"People's responses were funny. Some tourists seemed to think this is just what happens on the Tube, while Londoners gave off this, 'Don't come near me' look."

Passengers were offered wine and chocolates. "Most people were happy to talk but I think they were worried about taking the food," said Ms Manteghi.
