13 February 2008
Pizza Express is offering a three-course Valentine's menu with a glass of sparkling Prosecco for just under £20. And Morrisons supermarket is selling a dozen red roses for £4.99, Tesco has a similar bouquet for £4.75 while Asda has two dozen "sweetheart" roses at £4.
However, if you'd like your cash to go to a worthy cause, the temporary Valentine charity campaign Love (Red) has teamed up with leading brands such as Lulu Guinness, Converse, iPod and Emporio Armani, who will give a percentage of every sale to help fight Aids and HIV in Africa.
