We just had that Robert Maxwell's grandson in the front of our rickshaw
19 May 2007
The grandson of disgraced media tycoon Robert Maxwell, who stole millions from his firms' pension schemes, has started a business ferrying tourists around Oxford in rickshaws.
Ted Maxwell, 20, bought five of the three-wheeled bikes from an American manufacturer based in Colorado for £10,000, and has set up a business called Oxon Carts.

Business cycle: Ted Maxwell at work
Ted - one of seven children of Robert Maxwell's youngest son Kevin and his wife Pandora - is a second-year history student at the university's Balliol College, where he is also captain of the college's football team.
Sporting a tweed flat cap, Ted ferries the tourists around in his spare time and employs fellow students as riders.
He said: "In Oxford, as soon as I introduce myself people ask if I am any relation to Robert Maxwell. But I am just a guy who has set up a company that people want to succeed and which is also environmentally friendly."
When his grandfather Robert died aged 68 in 1991, it was found he had looted £460 million from the pension funds of Mirror Group Newspapers.
