West End goes traffic free for a day

The West End will be transformed tomorrow with street entertainers and guaranteed snowfall in a traffic-free environment.

Snow machines will cover Regent Street with the white stuff while dancers perform in Bond Street.

The Snowman is staged in Selfridges in Oxford Street and Debenhams puts on a production of Grease.

There will also be fireworks, light shows and aerial dancers and an appearance by singer Louise Redknapp.

Traffic will be cleared from 10.30am to 8pm.
