Westbourne Grove opens again to buses

Westbourne Grove, which has been closed to traffic since January, will reopen to buses on Sunday.

Officials shut the busy residential and shopping street while Thames Water engineers constructed a new flood alleviation sewer. Traders say the works have transformed the oncefashionable road into a "building site" and crippled business.

Bus routes 7, 23, 27, 70 and N7 will return to run along Westbourne Grove while route 36 towards Queen's Park will revert to turning directly from Bishop's Bridge Road into Porchester Road. Information on local arrangements will be available at bus stops and on the Transport for London website.
