Woody's feeling at home with Spurs

Woodgate is in the 23-man squad to face Switzerland on Wednesday night and, with John Terry and Ledley King both out injured, has a great chance of starting next to Rio Ferdinand in central defence.
In just two games for Spurs he has impressed at the back and came very close to helping them secure consecutive clean sheets, only for Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez to nab an undeserved equaliser in injury time on Saturday.
There were raised eyebrows when the 28-year-old decided to move to London rather than stay at Middlesbrough or join former club Newcastle. But Woodgate, who grew up in the north east, has put fulfilling his international and club ambitions above home comforts.
He said: "I'm playing with a lot of international players here and I'm sure Mr Capello will come and watch me a lot more at Tottenham. Spurs is closer to him, while Middlesbrough is four hours up the road and it's cold up there! I could have stayed at Middlesbrough, had the easy life and come in from home. But I wanted to come to London and play for Spurs, a good team that is going places.
"The manager, the players, you can see they are trying to build something. It was like at Leeds. You see the new players come in and you're excited."
Tottenham's progress was clear to see as they made United look far from title contenders. Dimitar Berbatov gave the home side a deserved lead and they could have doubled their advantage before Tevez scored from six yards in the last minute.
