The raiders launched the smash-and-grab raid on Mozafarian in Knightsbridge, central London, after riding up on three motorbikes, rushing in and breaking open display cabinets.
Store owners said the costliest item taken was a £500,000 diamond necklace, with other gems among the haul.
The raid happened on Wednesday last week - nearly a fortnight after the £40 million raid on Mayfair jeweller Graff. Police do not believe the two are connected.
Mozafarian boss Sokol Salia told The Sun: "We knew something was wrong when the motorbikes left the road and drove up on the pavement.
"There were six big guys with helmets and one smashed the door.
"All you could hear was the din of broken glass. They came in and took almost everything. There was a huge panic."
Four staff and an elderly customer were inside at the time, he said, but they were not injured.
Scotland Yard are appealing for anyone with any information about the raid to call Barnes Flying Squad on 020 8247 4804 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
