Actor's son accused of drug-dealing

The son of actor Michael Douglas has been accused of dealing large quantities of methamphetamine.

A newly-published criminal complaint by US prosecutors in Manhattan alleges that New York users paid Cameron Douglas tens of thousands of dollars for the illegal drugs.

The complaint says the cash was sometimes sent by FedEx to the 30-year-old at a California hotel.

It says he in turn would ship the drugs to New York or deliver them in person.

Cameron Douglas has acted in films including 2003's It Runs In The Family, starring his father and grandfather Kirk Douglas.

He was arrested on July 28 at the Hotel Gansevoort in Manhattan.
