Arsema stabbing accused faces court

Thomas Nugusse, 21, of St Francis Way, Ilford, Essex, will appear before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court.
Arsema Dawit, 15, was stabbed up to 10 times in a frenzied attack in the lift of the block of flats where she lived with her family, near Waterloo railway station, in central London.
She was found, lying in a pool of blood, by a neighbour, on Monday.
The attack was so violent that the broken murder weapon was left embedded in her body.
The charge came as inquiries were under way into how Scotland Yard handled a death threat allegedly made against the girl weeks before her death.
Her family has complained that officers failed to protect her.
Two internal Metropolitan Police reviews were looking at how officers responded to a report by the victim's mother that she was attacked and threatened in April.
The force has also voluntarily referred the matter to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
Officers at the watchdog are now considering how a formal probe into the case should be undertaken.
