Body in woodlands was model Kirsty

The body of a woman found dumped in woodland alongside a busy motorway has been formally identified as that of a missing model.

The body of Kirsty Grabham, 24, of Swansea, south Wales, was found by police search teams alongside the M4 near Laleston, Bridgend.

South Wales Police confirmed the body was that of Mrs Grabham, who vanished from home 10 days ago.

A 25-year-old man, understood to be the model's husband, Paul Grabham, remains in custody after his arrest on suspicion of murder.

"The body of a female that was found in the Laleston area of Bridgend near the M4 on Monday April 6 has been formally identified as that of 24-year-old Kirsty Grabham," said a police spokesman.

"A family liaison officer is continuing to support the family.

"The 25-year-man who was arrested on suspicion of her murder remains in custody at Swansea Central Police Station."
