Boy 'seriously ill' after stabbing

A 15-year-old boy is seriously ill in hospital after he was stabbed.

The teenager was attacked in Clapham, south London, on Saturday evening.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said police were called to reports of a stabbing in Union Street shortly before 8pm.

"We found a male, aged about 15, who had suffered stab wounds," she said.

"He was taken to hospital and remains in a serious condition."
