Flight attendant Carol Miller, 47, from Liverpool, hugged and kissed Dominic and Nicola Delemere - the parents of baby Alfie who she delivered on a flight from Manchester to Crete on April 17.
Ms Miller, who used a drinking straw to inflate Alfie's lungs, was presented with a Special Recognition award at the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.
The Fundraiser of the Year Award went to nine-year-old Chloe Gambrill from Ramsgate, Kent, who was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was aged six.
Chloe, who is now in remission, said she was very "happy" and added that her favourite fundraising event was swimming.
An Outstanding Bravery award went to Robert Dunn, 13, from Cheltenham, who was just 12 when a man burst into his family home brandishing a meat cleaver.
Four men who helped to stop a suspected terrorist attack at Glasgow airport were presented with an Outstanding Bravery award by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah.
John Smeaton, 31, from Renfrewshire, Michael Kerr, 40, from Denny in Stirlingshire, Stephen Clarkson, 41, from Penilee, Glasgow, and Alec McIiveen, 45, were among the first people on the scene after a flaming Jeep was driven into the airport's main terminal.
Girl band the Sugababes presented delighted six-year-old Lydia Cross with her Child Of Courage award.
Lydia from Braunton, North Devon, had both legs amputated just before her third birthday after she contracted meningitis.
