Bullies had targeted murdered teen

The parents of murdered 14-year-old Paul Erhahon moved him to a new school last year after he was stabbed by bullies, his aunt said.

Paul became the seventh Londoner under 16 to be murdered since the end of January when he collapsed in the street as he staggered from the scene of the attack by youths in the foyer of a block of flats in Leytonstone, east London.

Two teenagers - one 19, and the other 13 - have been arrested and are being held in separate London police stations. Police believe up to 15 youths may have been involved in the Good Friday attack.

His aunt, Jackie Mustapha, said her nephew was attacked last year in a "personal quarrel".

She said: "That was why his parents moved him to a new school, to stop him from being bullied."

Mrs Mustapha's daughter, Aishea, 14, wept as she visited the scene with her mother on Sunday.

Mrs Mustapha said of Paul's family: "They are a very responsible, loving, close family and they love their kids to bits."

She revealed that Paul's mother, Ivy, was with her son as he lay dying.

She said: "His mum was there kissing him, cuddling him, trying to see if she could revive him."

She continued: "Paul was a good boy. He was always in his room, on his Play Station, enjoying his music. I remember him for his closeness. He would always kiss and cuddle me, it was never a hand shake. The whole thing is so shocking."
