Campbell in rage over BA abuse case

The 38-year-old, who was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid community work for kicking and spitting at police officers, said she reacted to racist abuse.
Magistrates heard how she screamed foul-mouthed language at the captain of a British Airways flight waiting to take off from Heathrow Airport when one of her bags went missing during chaos at Terminal 5.
Campbell, speaking afterwards in an interview, admitted she "took it too far". But she said: "As for British Airways, I don't apologise. I just think they're disgusting because there are people still waiting for their luggage."
She added: "I have travelled with them for many years and I just think they have been harsh. I was called a racial name on that flight and that was part of my reaction."
She went on to say she didn't understand what staff meant by "missing in the system" in relation to her baggage.
The court heard how the model flew into a rage when officers arrived to remove her from the plane, lashing out and accusing them of targeting her because she was black.
She pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court in west London to two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and using threatening, abusive words or behaviour to cabin crew.
Magistrates told the model that the community service was part of a 12-month order.
They also ordered her to pay compensation of £200 each to the two police officers she assaulted, and £150 compensation to the aircraft captain, Miles Sutherland. In addition she was ordered to pay fines totalling £2,300 and a £15 surcharge.
