Dodi 'ignored' protect Diana advice

Despite the unwanted attention from press and passers-by bearing down on them as they were on holiday in the Mediterranean, they would leave his multi-million pound yacht without their bodyguards.
Holistic healer Myriah Daniels, who was among the staff on board the yacht the Jonikal during the couple's final trip, just days before they were killed in August 1997, described them as having a "sense of invincibility".
"I saw two people who were smitten with each other," she said.
Dating Diana triggered a whole new set of security issues for Dodi, the central London inquest heard.
She recalled having words with him about security after they left the yacht alone.
"I would say to Dodi 'You cannot take off without your bodyguards. They are here to look after Diana'," she told the jury. "He looked at me as if to say that he did not understand that there could be any danger."
There were just two bodyguards for the trip and the workload of looking after the high-profile couple was "a bit overburdening for these two people", Ms Daniels claimed.
She said: "Neither Dodi or Diana were listening to their advice. She knew their needs better than we did. They took off without a bodyguard."
The couple and their driver, Henri Paul, were killed in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.
