Dog walker murder: Boy in court

Kelly Hyde, 24, of Ammanford, West Wales, was discovered dead in woodland close to her home last Sunday.

A major search was launched at the weekend as concern for the welfare of the trainee hairdresser mounted.

Ms Hyde dropped her car off at a garage in Tycroes on the morning of September 27 and was never seen alive again.

She was known to have taken her pet whippet for a walk in the area but failed to return home.

The dog was recovered on the following day wandering alone in the area where she had gone missing.

Police arrested a youth from Pantyffynnon, outside Ammanford, on Tuesday. He will appear before magistrates in Llanelli.
