Firefighters tackle warehouse blaze

More than 100 firefighters are tackling a blaze on an industrial estate near Egham in Surrey.

A total of 19 fire engines and about 120 firefighters attended the premises of My Health Care Ltd on the Thorpe Industrial Estate in Thorpe.

A spokesman for Surrey Fire Brigade said there were no reports of any casualties.

He said the fire had been isolated and would not spread to any other buildings..

The one and two-floor building measures 120 metres by 56 metres, which is roughly the size of a football pitch.

The full extent of the damage was not immediately known but the building was said to be "well alight".

The owners of the building have been informed.

The spokesman added: "It's at quite an early stage. We have got the fire surrounded now so we are confident it will not spread to other buildings."
