Five charged over passport fraud

Five men have been charged with manufacturing counterfeit passports, Scotland Yard has said.

It follows a police operation in which a two-bedroom flat in Poplar Grove, Colney Hatch, north London, was raided on Tuesday afternoon.

Krum Angelov Poibrenski, 31, who gave no address; Kiril Velev, 29, of Ballards Lane, Finchley, north London; Dennis Cenolli, 25, of Collingwood Court, Station Road, New Barnet and Altin Ibrahimi, 30, who also gave no address, are all charged with possession of articles to manufacture identity documents and possession of identity documents with intent.

Stoyan Minchev, 28, of Ballards Lane, Finchley, is also charged with one count of possession of articles to manufacture identity documents.

All five will appear at Brent magistrates court on Thursday.
