George 'facing strict supervision'

Officials remained in the dark as to where the 48-year-old will choose to settle down as he emerges from the media frenzy surrounding his acquittal.
But Mr George hinted in interviews at the weekend that he wants to move back to Fulham in west London, close to where Jill Dando was murdered.
His legal team are working on a compensation claim that could run into hundreds of thousands of pounds, paving the way for him to live wherever he chooses.
Police, probation and prison staff are determined to keep a close eye on Mr George amid fears over his past lifestyle.
Although Mr George was freed at the Old Bailey, he has admitted stalking and pestering women. These activities were observed by surveillance officers in the weeks before his arrest and confirmed by hundreds of photos found at his home. It also emerged that he was jailed for an attempted rape in the 1980s and once assaulted a neighbour.
Discussions are under way to place Mr George under a Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangement, an order designed to supervise sex offenders.
He will be treated as a category three offender, reserved for people who are not registered sex offenders or violent but may pose a risk to the public. Representatives from health services and the local housing authority will also be involved in supervising and supporting him.
But sources said several legal hurdles remain as Mr George has not been convicted of an offence for more than 20 years.
Scotland Yard said it was keeping the murder investigation open as a top detective was given the go-ahead to review evidence to find new leads. Assistant Commissioner John Yates, Detective Chief Superintendent Hamish Campbell and Commander Simon Foy met to discuss the case.
