Husband in court on murder charge

The husband of a model whose body was found dumped in woodland next to a motorway has appeared before a Crown Court judge charged with her murder for the first time.

Paul Grabham, 25, of Rosehill Terrace, Swansea, south Wales, is alleged to have killed his wife Kirsty, 24, last month.

Grabham appeared on a video-link at Swansea Crown Court for the first time when his case was adjourned until June 29 for a plea and case management hearing.

During his brief appearance, Grabham, spoke only to confirm his name.

Kirsty Grabham, an aspiring model, disappeared after a night out with friends on March 28 and was initially the subject of a missing persons hunt.

Her body was found in woodland alongside the M4 close to Laleston, near Bridgend, nine days after she disappeared, and while her husband was being questioned by the police.

He was charged with her murder on April 7 and appeared before Swansea Magistrates' Court the following day.
