The 28-year-old returned to the UK on Saturday after fleeing to Tenerife following the News of the World's publication of photographs and video material apparently showing her snorting the class A drug in her home in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The reality TV star was dropped as the face of Iceland following the revelations.
Last week plain-clothed police officers were spotted at her family home.
Cheshire Police said they could not rule out taking further action against the troubled star if presented with new evidence.
A spokesman said: "We do not comment on individuals until a point in an investigation where a person is charged with an offence. In general terms it is very difficult to prosecute anyone for drugs offences without physical evidence of the alleged substance.
"However, should any individual have any evidence or information in relation to this particular matter they are advised to contact Cheshire Police."
The mother-of-four has finally broken her silence on the matter telling the Sunday Mirror she had let her fans down.
Katona said: "I am so sorry and so ashamed of my actions. I know I let everyone down - my fans, my family and people I work with. It was a moment of weakness and stupidity and I regret it terribly."
Police sources said officers are planning to pay Katona another visit now her holiday has ended.
