Life for actor's smirking killer

Karl Bishop will be behind bars for at least 20 years for the revenge-fuelled knife attack on Mr Knox, 18, and four of his friends.
An Old Bailey judge told Bishop, 22, - who smiled and smirked at his friends in the public gallery as he was being sentenced - that he is a danger to the public and that Mr Knox died because of his own bravery.
Bishop, of Sidcup in Kent, was labelled a coward on Wednesday by Mr Knox's family after he refused to leave his cell to hear all the guilty verdicts and an impact statement from them.
He was jailed for life for Mr Knox's murder outside the Metro bar in Sidcup in May last year, and was ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years behind bars.
He was also given three life sentences for wounding Mr Knox's friends Dean Saunders, 23, Nicky Jones, 20, and Charlie Grimley, 17, with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The sentences will be served together along with a two-year term for wounding Andrew Grimley, 17.
Mr Justice Bean told Bishop: "You are at present a highly dangerous man. There is plainly a very significant risk to the public of serious harm caused by your committing further offences of violence.
"Because you had threatened his younger brother, Rob Knox was among those who tried to disarm you. He paid for his bravery with his life.
"The truth is that you simply could not care less whether you killed him or not. When you learned that you had killed Rob your only response was to say 'Yeah, sweet' and your lack of regret, let alone remorse, was truly chilling."
