Man held after youth stabbing death

A man has been arrested after an 18-year-old was found stabbed to death at a house.

The young man was discovered with severe stab wounds following a disturbance at the property in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Paramedics battled to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene just before midnight on Friday night.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the house, in the Bridge End Road area of the town, and has been taken to Grantham police station for questioning.

A police spokeswoman said: "On arrival it was discovered that an 18-year-old man had received stab wound injuries and despite being worked on by paramedics, he subsequently died at the house.

"A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and has been taken to Grantham police station where he will later be questioned by detectives."
