Man remanded over flats stab death
12 January 2008
Michael Harwood, 32, of no fixed abode, is accused of murdering 18-year-old Faridon Alizada and deliberately wounding another youth during an incident in south east London last Saturday.
At Barking Magistrates' Court, Harwood spoke only to confirm his name.
The case was sent to the Old Bailey for a hearing on April 1.
No application for bail was made.
Mr Alizada died during an attack on three youths at Verona House, a tower block in Erith, south east London on January 5.
Of the injured, one was said to be seriously wounded.
Earlier this week, Lee James, also 32, and of no fixed address, appeared at Bexleyheath Magistrates' Court charged with Mr Alizada's murder, the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy and the deliberate wounding of another 16-year-old.
