Man stabbed to death outside club

A man has been stabbed to death outside a social club in Birmingham.

Officers were called to the car park of Ruskin Hall, Aston, in the early hours of Thursday following reports of disorder.

The man, 24, was taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.

A post mortem examination showed he had been stabbed several times.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Police have launched an investigation into the incident under the direction of the major investigation unit.

"Police are appealing for anyone who was present in Ruskin Hall during the early hours of Thursday December 27 to contact the major investigation unit at Acocks Green police station 0845 113 5000 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
