Massage parlour murders trial opens

A man is due to appear in court charged with murdering two women found bludgeoned to death at a massage parlour.

Garry Harding, 22, from Welshpool, Powys, is accused of killing Annie Eels and Samantha Tapper in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Harding, who previously appeared at Stafford Crown Court in November to deny the charges, will stand trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Mrs Eels, 55, from Llansantffraid, Powys, and Miss Tapper, 24, from Wolverhampton, were found dead in the early hours of July 2 last year at Rachael's Health Studio in the Frankwell area of Shrewsbury.

They had received severe head injuries.
