Joanne Coombs posted a poem on a social networking internet site that ended with: "We'll ache and weep until lives end."
The 40-year-old housewife, from Dovercourt, Essex, was found dead on the track near Manningtree station late on Tuesday - five weeks after her 17-year-old daughter died in identical circumstances.
The body of her only child, Natasha, was discovered on August 10, two weeks after she disappeared following a night out in Ipswich.
Police are not sure whether her death was an accident or suicide.
Before Natasha died, Mrs Coombs spoke of the "unbearable" pain she felt at her disappearance.
And a week ago, she posted a poem to her daughter on the website initially set up to find her.
It was followed by a heartfelt message to her "darling Natasha", which said: "My tears are falling all over the keyboard, u know my IT skills, u taught me how 2 turn on the computer. Remember when I tried to use it upside down lol?
"I talk 2 u all the time baby, and I know u r by my side giving me the strength to carry on. I love and miss u so very, very much.
