Members of Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team made the find on Saturday afternoon as they were helping two men who had fallen from the Clogwyn Coch part of the North Wales mountain.
The dead man was not a member of their climbing party and it is not yet known how long his body had lain on the mountain.
Christopher McCallion, 29, from Bristol, and brother James, 35, from Weston-Super-Mare, were found dead near the climbing blackspot last Monday.
Llanberis rescue team's secretary, Ian Henderson, said the identity of the dead man was not yet known.
"The emphasis at the moment is on the rescue and recovery of the living," he told the BBC.
One man of the men rescued from the mountain on Saturday, who was part of a four-strong walking party, was airlifted to hospital by RAF helicopter, having suffered multiple injuries when he slipped from the path and plunged 660ft down a cliff.
The second casualty went over a ledge but managed to break his fall, Mr Henderson said.
It is thought the pair were not equipped with ice axes or crampons.
