New photograph issued of Madeleine

A new photograph of Madeleine McCann has been issued, taken just 20 days before her disappearance.

Sitting on the back of a Shetland pony with her mother Kate by her side the then three-year-old is shown smiling and relaxed.

The photograph was issued by Madeleine's parents exactly six months after she went missing.

The picture was taken on a day out at the Hatton Country World park in Warwickshire on April 13 - less than three weeks before she went missing.

Two weeks after it was taken, Madeleine, her parents and her younger siblings Sean and Amelie went on holiday in Praia da Luz on the Algarve in Portugal.

Madeleine disappeared from her bed in the resort on May 3.

On Saturday night her parents Gerry and Kate attended a special service to mark the six months since her disappearance.
