Pair face court over boy's death

The child, from Wolverhampton, was taken to hospital shortly before 11pm on Monday with head injuries, said West Midlands Police.
The boy, who has not been named, died at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital on Wednesday.
A 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.
The spokeswoman added: "West Midlands Police are confirming that the three-year-old boy who was taken to hospital on Monday evening with head injuries has sadly died. The three-year-old, who is from Wolverhampton and is not being named at this stage, died at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital on Wednesday, December 24.
"As a result of his injuries, West Midlands Police were called and an investigation launched."
The boy was taken to hospital from an address on Slim Avenue, in the Bradley area of Wolverhampton, shortly before 11pm on Monday.
A post-mortem examination to discover how he died will be carried out on Saturday.
The man and woman who were charged in connection with the youngster's death are due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court.
Police are appealing for anybody from the Bradley area who knew the boy to contact Bilston Street public protection unit on 0845 113 5000.
