Three passengers and a relief driver remained in hospital on Sunday night after the accident between Middelkirke and Nieuwpoort, near the city of Bruges.
The coach carrying two drivers and 35 passengers was operated by Leger Holidays, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The coach firm arranged for the remaining passengers to stay in a local hotel until they were able to bring them home.
At around 11.10am local time on Saturday, following an overnight rest stop, the coach was in a collision with a car and a house. Initial reports stated that five Britons were feared to have suffered serious injury.
Later, a Leger Holidays spokesman said: "Of the 35 passengers involved, three are in hospital - two have cuts and bruises and will be released in the next day or so, whilst a third is expected to remain in hospital for up to a week according to doctors.
"One of our two British drivers onboard will remain in hospital and we are waiting for an update on how he is - the driver at the time of the accident was unhurt."
Two people in the car and two in the house were slightly injured.
The coach was returning to Britain following a nine-day tour of Prague, Vienna and Budapest.
Ian Henry, Leger Holidays' Managing Director, said: "Clearly our thoughts and concerns go to those still in hospital, to their family and friends, and to the passengers who have been shaken by the unfortunate accident. A full investigation is under way to establish the cause and investigators are working with local officials as we speak."
