Silence over Macca's divorce battle

Following a gruelling day of discussions the pair both declined to discuss whether a divorce settlement had been reached.
Reports suggest that the pair are still at loggerheads but divorce lawyers believe that an agreement will eventually be reached, with some believing the former Beatle will have to shell out as much as £70m - making it the UK's largest ever divorce settlement.
Leaving court, Sir Paul flashed his traditional "V" for victory sign while Ms Mills shielded her face from the throng of waiting cameramen and reporters.
The former Beatle was later seen at a star-studded gallery launch in London's West End, rubbing shoulders with daughters Stella and Mary, and Hollywood actresses Thandie Newton and Gwyneth Paltrow.
It followed a day of discussions between McCartney's and Mills's lawyers in a sixth-floor room of an annexe to the Royal Courts of Justice.
Before the hearing began, the spy hole in the court door was covered from the inside and then a row of office chairs placed across the corridor to blockade the entrance.
It has been suggested in the past that Sir Paul has offered in the region of £20m, and Ms Mills is after something more like £50m.
Divorce lawyers believe there will be a settlement, with Sir Paul agreeing to increase his offer from his estimated £825m fortune. The deal is expected to outstrip the £48m insurance broker John Charman, 53, was ordered to pay his former wife, Beverley, in May this year in the biggest contested divorce settlement to date.
The 65-year-old musician faces a total payout approaching £70m to provide for Ms Mills, 39, and their child, according to some divorce specialists.
