The 23-year-old pop star was taken to Guildford Police Station, Surrey, after a Saturday night brawl on the dance floor of nightspot Bar Met, the Mirror and Sun report.
The alleged victim is an 18-year-old woman.
The Mirror says that Miss Berrabah is reported to have given a statement about the alleged incident at 7am on Sunday, before joining bandmates Keisha Buchanan and Heidi Range on a flight to America.
The newspaper reports a Sugababes' spokeswoman as saying: "There was an incident on Saturday night and Amelle is helping police with their inquiries. I can't say more than that because she is on a flight to LA."
Surrey Police are reported to have confirmed the incident, saying: "A 23-year-old female was arrested in Guildford town centre following an incident in a bar.
"She has been released on police bail pending further inquiries."
Last week, it was announced the band are launching a Barbie collection which will be available in UK toy stores in May.
Each band member has created a doll's look including clothes, hair colour and skin tone.
Toy manufacturer Mattel expects the £9.99 Sugababes' dolls to outsell Barbies designed by Girls Aloud, which went on sale in November 2005.
