Terror suspect appears in court

A 24-year-old man who absconded while subject to an anti-terror control order has appeared in court after surrendering to police custody.

Ceri Bullivant, previously known as AG, appeared at the Old Bailey after handing himself in at Belgravia police station in London on Monday morning.

Clean-shaven and wearing a light-brown hooded top, Bullivant was remanded in custody for a further preparatory hearing. He faces 13 charges of breaching his control orders.

Some of the charges relate to failing to report to Dagenham police station while under the control order, which was made in July last year.

The judge lifted a ban on naming AG as Bullivant, but other reporting restrictions remained in place.
