Top ten hit for Talent contestants

Britain's Got Talent stars Escala have made their debut appearance in the UK album chart, soaring straight into the second spot.

The electric string quartet's self-titled album includes songs performed on the show in 2008, including their version of Paul McCartney's Live and Let Die, originally a Bond theme by Wings.

The all-girl group - finalists in last year's ITV1 contest - have also covered Led Zeppelin's Kashmir and Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.

However, US rapper Eminem remained at the top of the chart with his first studio work for more than four years.

His album, called Relapse, will be followed up later in the year by Relapse 2.

Artist Dizzee Rascal retained the number one spot in the UK singles chart for a second week with Bonkers.

The song, which also features Armand Van Helden, broke the record for the fastest selling single of 2009, selling more than 115,000 in its first week.

Black Eyed Peas stayed at number two with Boom Boom Pow, while the highest new entry in the singles chart was Release Me by Agnes, at number three.
