Two arrested after double shooting

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were found with gunshot wounds.

The injured pair, aged 24 and 28, were discovered shortly after 9pm on Friday after officers responded to reports of shots being fired at a property in Aston, Birmingham.

They were taken to hospital but their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening at this stage, said West Midlands Police.

A 33-year-old man also received medical treatment after the incident but has since been released from hospital.

The two men, aged 33 and 36, held over the shootings were being questioned as officers continued to examine the scene in Trinity Road.
